I stumbled upon a restaurant underneath train tracks on a trip to Tokyo and decided to draw it. I highlight the different textures through cross-hatching and the neon signs through negative space. In 2023, I submitted this drawing to the Creative Youth Foundation, where it won the Superior Award.

This project revolved around one simple principle: could I imagine a cityscape? Using the spaceship as a reference point for the perspective, I began creating the city incorporating different aspects of cities that I have visited.
